MOAR SPELLS

The Spell list right now has really cool stuff (especially on the Cleric) but could use way more options in my opinion.

Is anyone working on this right now?

Wizard of the Spiral Tower twisting Blade Compendium Class

Yeah guys, i made a Swordmage.

When i started i wanted to make something that would have let you forget spells for bonus damage and other effects but it was way to complicated (i must see more of Wizards in long form game before trying something like that) but the version right now should work.

Also (there seems to be a pattern here) based on Orem Rivendorn played by Major Spoilers s Stephen Schleicher  on the Critical Hit Podcast.

Not really a Magic Item but maybe a Wondrous or advanced mechanical

Exilarchy of Cogs Battlefist

A EoC Battlefist is a mechanical prosthetic made by the sentient Construct Race of the Cogs (or by some genius Artificer studiyng their technology). Actually supposed to be used as a swappable weapon for the Cogs warrior it can be reconfigured to connect to a living humanoid. Due to the intelligent design of the Exilarchy the Battlefist reconfigures itself to the needs of the user and can become much more then just a strong arm.

A EoC Battlefist has 2 Weight and is Clumsy

When you connect a EoC Battlefist to your living body, roll + CON as it analyses your bodily health and capabilities.

On a 10+ choose 2, on a 7-9 choose 1

* The EoC Battlefist looses the Clumsy Tag

* It configures a stronger outercasting, functioning like a shield. Take +1 armor

* If your Class Damage is lower then 1d8 upgrade it 1 step

* It has room to imbed a small crossbow (1 weight, near, can only store 1 ammo)

* It reconfigures the fingers to include different lockpicks, looking glasses and other thiefy tools

Quick overview of how much damage you could get on 1 attack..

Fighter Base Damage 1d10

+ 1d6 if you expose yourself to Danger on a 10+ H&S

+ 2 damage from signature weapon (hooks’n’spikes + Serrated Edges)

+ 1d8 Merciless

+ 1d8 Taste of Blood

+ 3d4 from fully boosted Arcane Art from your Bard Friend

+ 1d4 from a Magic Weapon Spell

+ 1d4 from your Paladin Buddys Setup Strike/Tandem Strike

As a Fighter you get 2 multiclass moves, the most damage you can get from these is with these options: (i think)

+2d4 Exterminatus (Paladin)

+1d4 Viper’s Strike (Ranger) but you need a second weapon

A Wizard could also cast Polymorph on you, don’t know what will happen then.

But all in all, if you can use every ressource you have avaiable that is a

1d10+2+2d8+8d4 = 31 damage on an average,

60 damage if everything comes up maximum.

This of course is purely theoretical and won’t probarbly happen like this in a game, but knowledge is about 50% of any given conflict.

Compendium Class Warden

Inspired by my favorite 4e Class, the transforming Warden.

The most extensive thing I wrote for DW until now but i had lot of fun with this, writing up Guardian Forms really is cool.

Giving you just 4 forms might be a bit few but this means you have to choose. You can also work with your GM on what kinds of things you have to do for the spirits so that they grant you additional forms.

They tend to be a bit strong i think but the 7-9 effect on them will change up the battlefield and situation pretty good. You will have to figure out how long you will want to stay in a chosen form and reap it’s passive benefits and when to unleash PRIMAL POWER! I like that.

I am not sure if it is cool to just give them a limited multiclass into Druid but i felt those are the best moves for communing with the primal spirits.

Part 2 of my Dungeon World Psionic-Stuff

also inspired by the 4e Ardent but this time more positive

I actually wanted to make a positive mirror of the Balefire of Rage, mechanic wise. That didn’t work out so i went a bit deeper. The core mechanics are really similar BUT it should feel different in play.

As always i am happy to hear your feedback and suggestions.
