Dungeon World – Adventures on Dungeon Planet

SAGA OF SYSTEM PART II

I have four sessions of Adventures on Dungeon Planet on the calendar for Sunday afternoons in March. If you’re not familiar with the game, it’s Johnstone Metzger’s science-fantasy supplement for Dungeon World. This is a continuation of the games I’m running in February, but they’re a separate entity, so you don’t need to have played in any of those to play in the March games.

Games will run from 3:00 – 6:30 Central Time.

The setting is home-brew science fantasy set in an environment inspired by the deep south of America.

Looking for a player or two for Wednesday night sessions (every other Wednesday pretty much) from 6:30-9:30 PM Pacific time. We have a couple core gamers that have been in the campaign for a while now, but we lost one of our gamers to real life (had a baby) and looking to fill up the campaign.

We play a revised version of Dungeon World with a bunch of what would be considered homebrew type changes to the core game, but it stays pretty true to it. It is fairly some dark fantasy and 18+ years old mature material. We play on Roll20 and use Discord for chat. respond if interested.

I am looking for players to start a weekly campaign, the setting will be a sort of classical, mythological Greece.

I am looking for players to start a weekly campaign, the setting will be a sort of classical, mythological Greece. It will be played any day from monday to thursday, in the evening (GMT+1). The players will start their lives in a small village, and the game will be sandbox in style.

The PC are starting already as friends, and we should do a first session to establish the background and these sort of things.

Whoever wants to join is welcome. 🙂

The Yellow City. The largest, most ancient, and most terrible city in all of Yoon-Suin… The people of the Yellow City are many and varied, but they are united in their love for three things: opium, knowledge, and tea.

I have four sessions of Dungeon World on the calendar for Monday evenings in September. General RSVPs begin 12 August 2018. There are three slots available.

(This is my first time running a game for the Gauntlet, but not my first time as a GM.)

The game will take place in the Yellow City in the universe of Yoon-Suin: The Purple Land by David McGorgan. I will add a folder of available playbooks closer to the date, but feel free to message me if you have suggestions. Additionally, you may choose Crab Person or Slug Person as your background.

Inspired by Heart of Darkness and Apocalypse Now, players have been hired by a local organized crime syndicate to locate and retrieve an elusive character known to be hiding somewhere in the area of the city known as Old Town.

Sessions run on Mondays. 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM CT

S1 – Sep. 03

S2 – Sep. 07

S3 – Sep. 14

S4 – Sep. 24

I feel my montly in-person game isn’t enough and I’m still itching for more DW.

I’m not a huge fan of online games but maybe with the proper mindset and tools it could be cool.

I’d prefer playing than GMing because I actually never been a player in a DW game but maybe if I can’t find anything I could be tempted to GM still.

I’m in GMT-5 (EST) timezone. I’d be available all week nights except Tuesdays from around 7h30PM to 10h30PM.

Preferences (not mandatory, just preferences):

* Dark fantasy

* Terrain and miniatures – now, this can be complicated when playing online. I know there’s an incredibely cool product on Drivethru, Epic Isometric, that I’ve bought, I’d be glad to share if someone is willing to DM. It seems to be working great through Roll20. Honestly, I’d be cool with only sketches. It’s just to give a clear picture of who stands where during a tactical encounter.

* 3 players + 1 GM

* More serious and fun tone than beer and pretzels.

So, over at The Gauntlet, we run a whole heck of a lot of games every month. At the moment, we have 214 sessions scheduled on Gauntlet Hangouts through August (and we have barely started putting things up for August). Many of those sessions are for Dungeon World, a game we love and play a lot.

Our community takes the act of playing ttrpgs very seriously. We teach each other, we support each other, we celebrate each other. Our open table play culture is all about creating space for new people to get involved; you never have to have experience with a particular game, and you can attend even if you can only make a session or two. No experience with online games? Doesn’t matter–we want you here. You’ll get up to speed very quickly with a group of fabulous people who will support you the whole way!
