Is there a more in-depth discussion anywhere about the change to using 1d6+mod for all damage rolls and the reasons behind it? My first thought was that classes and monsters would now feel too similar to each other. But maybe it actually makes them feel more distinct because the difference between +1 and +2 is more pronounced? Have you received any comments from playtesters about this part of your rules changes specifically?

Can we do anything more interesting with the Barbarian’s Appetites? It’s basically just a + 2 in disguise, and also higher than the original DW, which is only a + 1.

Generally, the consensus about these subjects in Dungeon World (and Worlds of Adventure) is that they aren’t always relevant or necessary, or that they bog the game down in too much busywork for little reward. In the interests of hearing more about your thoughts and what does and doesn’t work, we’d like to hear what you think!

I just finished reading Worlds of Adventure 0.2 and I really like it! Some of it was already house-made rules so I loved it! Have you considered to rip down the number of statistics? I once read an hack (sorry, don’t remember the name) where there were only 4 stats: Body, Dexterity, Intelligence and Will.

Also, I’d love to have the rules in my language (italian) and in fact I already translated the 0.2 PlayKit myself: if you are interested in it can you share me the original file to be edited? It’s a shame to use that resources but lose the page layout. When I’m done I can send you back the files and you can publish it! I would just need, for the next releases, a version with all the changes underlined or something like that to avoid translating everything all over again 🙂

In a few weeks, I’d like to make an update to the rules of Worlds of Adventure.

I know what I’d like to change or add – but what about you? What has, or hasn’t, worked for you? I understand there are some people playtesting the game, here and now, but I’d love to hear some specific feedback!

Alright the holidays are really the only time I have off to work on side projects for myself so I went ahead and created Flags for all Worlds of Adventure Playbooks. Additionally I created a Monk playbook and both a Wizard and Cleric sans spells. Please take a look. Any feedback will be appreciated and I will be play testing these tomorrow.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the Monk class is heavily inspired by the Prisoner Monk and other found at this link. https://www.reddit.com/r/DungeonWorld/comments/3d34ab/monk_class/

Great job on v0.2. I just finished reading it and wish I had a group ready to play at this moment.

Have you thought about adding Flags in? I think it will be something I myself add in if/when I run this.

Another thing is that I prefer to play without spells for both the Cleric and Wizard. Is this something that has been considered at all? For me spell lists limit my players’ creativity. When we play DW I offer the Priest and the Wizard sans spell list instead of the traditional option.
