The first level invisibily spell, does it work on 1 or several allys?
Does it work on me swell?
The description is a bit vague: Touch AN ally…THEY´re invisible ?

I’m running a campaign with all thieves, so developed four variants of the thief (actually leaving out the assassin option as I’m going to use that as a compendium class): Burglar, Con Artist, Leader and Muscle.
Just FYI, I’ve dropped alignments and replaced them with Motives and added Alignments. Also, I’m running the campaign with all humans, so no racial abilities.
Let me know what you think.
So, it appears my party is inexorably headed towards a war between two large groups.
So, it appears my party is inexorably headed towards a war between two large groups. Anyone happen to have already created some “war” or “large battle” related moves?
I love #DungeonWorld, but I’ve decided I don’t like the RAW Thief class much.
I love #DungeonWorld, but I’ve decided I don’t like the RAW Thief class much. The poison-related moves are so central the Thief seems to play more like I recollect 1e Assassins playing than old-school Thieves. This conclusion comes after playing a Thief in one session and GMing Thieves (by different players) in two more.
Maybe a tweaked Thief will be my first effort at a new(ish) class.

ASHEN KNIGHTS (That Ancient Serpent, p. 3)
Notes on ancient Samnis and its remains
When the daughters of Erredulon emerged from the great rift onto the frozen steppe of Samnis, they lit fires against the cold and despaired. But the ash giant Sōga, she-of-eighty-hands, spoke to them: Sisters, my flame is nearly spent; let my journey to meet the dawn be my final gift. And, lo, she planted her ashen body into the winter soil, springing forth in great bounty.
Centuries later, the gladiators of Samnis shed blood and burned corpses in the colosseums as tribute to Sōga, joining the fruit of their bodies with the soil to ensure the harvest. The wealthier houses converted old, crumbling arenas into walled gardens, knowing that the noble dead dwelt among the rows.
Though Samnis is now the Iron Bourse (Dark Heart, p. 20), some of the old ways remain. Illegal back-alley fights are ringed by circles drawn in blood and ash on the paving stones. The women of the merchant houses—the great-granddaughters of gladiators—are buried under agricultural fields in distant planes.
Heritage Moves: sow ash to bring bounty, consecrate a ritual combat, speak with the ghosts among the rows.
Patrons & Targets: merchant, guild, criminal.
Hey John Harper did you release World of Dungeons for public consumption? Cause it just popped up on tumblr.

In Wednesday night’s Dungeon World game I had the following exchange with one of my players.
GM: “So what do you do now?”
Player: “Well, I was going to start singing ‘Michael, Row the Boat to Shore’ and have have Alex come in on the second bar, but as you keep telling me there are no rounds in Dungeon World.”
GM: “Grr.”
Player: “And then I thought I should do something about the goblins’ ballista, but they’ve fired once and I can’t see how they’ll reload seeing as there are no rounds in Dungeon World.”
GM: “It’s not to late to switch to TOON, you bastard.”
Hello everyone!
Hello everyone!
I was wondering if there is a Star Trek hack of DW.
I think that the shared worldbuilding would make for excellent adventures in really exotic settings without the huge burden for the gm usually associated with the creation of tons of details for the planets (I am thinking about the tone of the original series, but that would work with probably all series, except Deep Space Nine that lacks the discovery background) .
Any pointers?
Hello
Hello,
For french reading DW gamers, here is a complete translation of character sheets and a basic / special moves page.
Many thanks to Philip “Xipehuz” Espi for re-reading and to Adam & Sage for their help as well as those who answered my questions about the most difficult moves.

I had this idea that I could make an awesome custom map of Dis for a (as yet, hypothetical) Planarch Codex game as a collage of bits of real maps. Many styles and scales and then some painting on top maybe. Now that I’ve got my draft put together, I’m not so sure. But I figured I’d show it off anyway. 🙂
