I’m very excited to announce that my Dungeon World adventure, “The Ruined Tower of Drazhu” is back and better than ever! Like it’s namesake, the evil Lich Drazhu, it has taken on a newer and more awesome form.
I’ve refined the hooks, added more magic items, and packaged the whole thing in a print ready, art-filled bundle. It’s free now on drivethrurpg. Check it out and, if you like it, I’d love if you left me a rating, review, or comment.
Happy adventure’s everybody!

When you asked around town…
When you asked around in town about (insert dungeon name here) the locals all pointed you to an elderly stable hand. When you find him he is missing an arm and muttering to himself. You approached and asked about (insert dungeon name here), he turned to you wild eyed and kept repeating one word.
What was that word?

This a quick video of the private commission I’m working on. A GM’s screen in 4 parts. I’m almost done, waiting for some oil to dry in a couple of spots so I can do some more glazing (l want the green crystals to glow).
I went a little fast with the pan, but it should give a general idea of what is going on. And the bonus of y’all getting to see my shoes!
The medium is oil, underpainting was done in gouache. I made a serious mistake with the gouache… when I went to spray fix it so I could brush on clear gesso, it was really windy outside. I should say that I have done this 100s of times. So, the spray went everywhere in large droplets, reactivated the goauche and then dried, so the underpainting was all splotchy. Which is okay, its the underpainting, but I really had to re-establish a lot of my darks. In some places, it was actually a blessing, because I got some cool texture… and I left it alone, didn’t go over it with oil.
Hope y’all like.
I’m nearing the content finish line of Dungeon Rations: Food and Drink! Then onto the first draft and feedback.

I would like to request more help on interesting foods!
What are some interesting, weird, dangerous, helpful, or otherwise Dungeon World delicacies?
The kind of thing that is hard to find, expensive, reserved for special occasions, or an acquired taste…

When you return to a civilized place in which you’ve caused trouble before, roll+Cha. On a hit, word has spread of your deeds and everyone recognizes you. On a 7–9, that, and, the GM chooses a complication:
-The local constabulary has a warrant out for your arrest
-Someone has put a price on your head
-Someone important to you has been put in a bad spot as a result of your actions
It’s the “on a hit” wording that’s confusing. I ASSUME it means a failure but most every move lists the success results and leaves the failure up to the GM and their hard moves. The player that pointed this out also noted that the “deeds” cold mean the heard of the party’s heroic deeds out adventuring and treats them like heroes.
It’s not a move I’ve used often, does anyone else have more experience with this or a custom move like “Sneak Back In Town” or the like?

I’ve just release the first pack in my new Dungeon Races series on DriveThruRPG, and I’m pretty excited cause it was a long time in the works. This pack covers the classic four races: human, dwarf, elf, and halfling. Each race works kind of like a compendium class, and has 11 total new moves (three starting, four 2-5, and four 6+) that work with any class playbook.
I put everything in a bundle to save money for those who want it all, but others can buy whichever races they want/need at the moment. Flexibility!
Next in the series will be orc, gnome, cambion, and dragonkin. I’ll be putting out a request for feedback when the drafts are ready. There are five packs of four planned, with a possible sixth, so a lot of options are on the horizon (20-24 races total). I hope you all enjoy Dungeon Races!
