The Damage Thread has made me think there should be a few more moves in combat that you could do, to get away from the constant need to probably do Hack and Slash. So Here are a few I’ve been thinking about.

When you are surrounded by enemies Roll +STR On a 10+ Choose Two, on a 7-9 Choose 1:

– You Manage To Get out Safely but their still on your tail

-You Manage to Stay in the fight for enough time for your friends to get here

-You Manage to Deflect the blows of the attacks.

When you see a friend in danger and about to get attacked Roll +Bond. On a 10+ You manage to Step in the Fray and your friend gets to escape. On a 7-9 you are both now the target of this enemies ire.

When you are fighting some monsters and want them to just go away. Describe how you do it and Roll +Relevant Stat On 10+ Choose Two on a 7-9 Choose One

-They Don’t take you to their leader

-They don’t take your valuable items

-They don’t punish you Physically

Has anyone tried a mega dungeon kind of thing for DW?

Has anyone tried a mega dungeon kind of thing for DW? I really love the reading I’ve done for it and the freedom of players doing what they want. I do wonder though if the exactness of that format works with the looseness that DW wants.

How would you deal with group rolls?

How would you deal with group rolls?

How would you deal with group rolls? It seems a lot of times with my players they all wqnt to do the same thing when it comes to sneaking about or jumping over ravines and stuff like thst. Would you roll individually knowing that one of them is bound to fail. Would you have a group roll? With the highest stat?

So I seem to have a problem character, not problem player I feel she is great and she is only playing a character that she wants to play. The problem is this character seems to be designed not to participate in the storyline that seems to be the focus at the moment, while the other characters have.

I feel the character is just becoming a bit of a 5th wheel, the other characters are getting into it and then I turn to the player with this character and shes like I don’t really want to deal with that in fact I hate magic, and so I would be left with..er…and then another player will jump in saying yeah I do this.

I want to be a fan of the character but I am struggling a bit on what to include that she can take part in, because she has deliberately made the character not that interested in what is happening.

Does anyone else allow levelling up at the end of the session?

Does anyone else allow levelling up at the end of the session? I know the rules say to level up when you rest but I always feel its fair to give them at the end of the session because they get xp and it usually makes them happy. But I might be taking out something when I do this.

What do others think?

So the ending question of Did we loot a memorable treasure doesn’t seem to be relevent in my game.

So the ending question of Did we loot a memorable treasure doesn’t seem to be relevent in my game.

So the ending question of Did we loot a memorable treasure doesn’t seem to be relevent in my game. Its kind of more go and figure things out and try and find the lost wizards without much looting. So what kind of question can i replace it with?

So my party has befriended a Griffin by the name of Tigit, and as what was clear last night they will probably want to use him in fights. So how would you rule this? I was thinking something like the ranger thing but then thats taking away the Rangers uniqueness, but I feel what I did last night where they didn’t really do anything was not really the right way either. Any help?
