So how much time do people spend on penning adventure fronts when not too sure how long the campaign will last?

From what I can tell it looks like it’s not necessary to craft a perfected masterpiece, especially as my games are usually very off the cuff (another reason why DW is pretty perfect for me) , but I don’t want to be short-changing my players.
Guidance?

The Greatlune Employment Office has the following jobs on offer:
Hardy adventurers needed to join expedition to the recently discovered Glass Crater parish. Reasonable outfitting expenses paid. There is great treasure to be found in those abandoned skeleton-towers! NOTE: this is a classic Gamma World deathlands loot run. Mutants ho!
Greatlune Temperance League urgently needs speechwriter. Top jingle paid to writers who can inflame our street teams. All serious applicants considered, but preference will be given to any with connections to the Arcadia powers. NOTE: our party has a bard who is mostly a writer and poet (and travel guide writer) and I want to directly target his niche and get him into the Temperance danger of the Greatlune front.
Be my personal shopper! On-location buyer in Minmeek needed. I pay a flat rate; you find the items I desire in the Minmeek bazaar. The more I save, the more you earn! Candidates unwilling to consider full-time occupancy in Minmeek need not apply. NOTE: Minmeek is a giant landfill parish run by Rat Things who are tremendously clever at recycling and reselling. All kinds of stuff from all over Dis turns up here. It’s not an easy place to live if you don’t have an adamantine immune system, though.
Urban spy required. Bring a detailed description of the goings-on at the Wrox Vault to the Taste of Elysium for substantial payment. Candidate unaffiliation will be verified by our brain-sorcerers; any who are currently oathbound are not wanted. NOTE: This is targeted on our thief. The Wrox Vault is a secure and patrolled area controlled by the employers who placed this job listing. Monitoring the Vault will be an interview for the real job, which is to monitor the secret chaos-ship hangar of the Theban Empire to see who / what they’re shipping out to the secret prison they’ve set up on a passing chaosteroid. The Thebans are my campaign front. Led by the immortal High Lord Pharaoh Mobius, they are serious nogoodniks.
I was wondering, after you have written a front how much of it do you share with your players?

Here’s the Front I’m using tonight for the Chaos Sea boom harbor of Greatlune. Thanks to Jonathan Walton for asking the questions that got it settled in my head. I’m gonna fork at least four jobs out of this guy.
FRONT: Tension between townies and transient fortune hunters.
DANGERS:
Townie religious temperance leagues make everyone sober and orderly
* kill the distillery demons and spirits; no more demon rum or spirits.
* poison the drink
* smash taverns, kill tavernowners, destroy the industry.
* erect an arcane wall that will protect Greatlune from demons and the spirits.
Fortune hunter riots get drunk and become marauders
* loot
* kill
* vandalize
The Outfitter’s Lodge absolutely eliminate anything that interferes with the greater business of Greatlune
* withdraw financing
* sabotage equipment
* disappear people into the Chaos
The Thieves’ Guild do what the Outfitter’s Lodge tells it to do
* run scams vs. approved targets — mostly new arrivals below a certain level of wealth / power / connectedness
Githzerai Monk-Marauders of the Chaos Sea drive off the stupid noisy fortune hunters who are interfering with their taming of the Chaos Sea
* destroy random fortune hunter Chaos Ships
* lightning raid vs. Greatlune
* divert massive earthmote / chaosteroid to collide with the Diamond Pier.
PORTENTS:
O Temperance leagues run wild
O Angry sober fortune hunters riot, sack parts of the townie quarter.
O Outfitters lose control of the thieves’ guild.
O Crackdown! Outfitters buy “reliable” half of the town and use it to kill the unreliable half.
O Outfitter anti-Githzerai patrols are radically cut down. Fortune hunters who are still working face emboldened Githzerai attacks.
O Risks too high, money stops flowing, investors flee for safety.
O Githzerai pirates damage the irreplaceable Diamond Pier.
O Fundamental supply chains broken, widespread hunger, food riots, severe depopulation.
ENDGAME:
Greatlune is torn apart. The current boom ends immediately and will not restart until some enterprising sorcerers rebuild the Diamond Pier.
Psyched to be running DW again tonight!

I am lonelyfunning on a new Front: the Freebooter’s Guild. In our parish, freebooters are underpaid, but they do have specialized skills and are a cruicial piece of the economy. So some old hands are going to organize. Their new guild’s Endgame* is that it controls the supply of both jobs and freebooters.
What does this thing look like? How does it build solidarity and grow towards its endgame?
* Impending Doom. But I don’t want to call it a Doom, because it’s not accelerating the downfall of society. Perhaps quite the opposite!

My third adventure front, DW-UK1 The Enchanted Garden is now available on RPGNow. It’s inspired by the classic TSR module “UK1 Beyond the Crystal Cave”. As always, all proceeds from sales (the PDF is $0.50) go towards the production of more of these.

A First Session Starter?
or maybe a Campaign Front…
Three days ago, as foretold by the Seer of the City of Coins, a meteor streaked overhead. The shockwave caused extensive damage and injuries throughout the city, and terrified the more skittish and superstitious locals. They may very well have reason to be afraid….
• Where/ what did the meteorite hit when it landed?
• What object does the Seer think the meteorite really is?
• Who sent you to retrieve it from the still-smoking crater? What did they offer you for bringing it to them?
• A third party also seeks the object. Who are they, and why don’t you want them to have it?
