What are some seemingly minor, or off-handedly introduced tidbits about your campaign world that had far-reaching consequences or ended up somehow shaping the campaign?

Something else I made for the upcoming game with the family.

Something else I made for the upcoming game with the family. I also have frogmen. I see potentially a set up where there is a bit of an ongoing conflict between the frogmen and the Gromes. The girl likes faeries, and is playing an elf fighter. I think potentially this might appeal in a game. I like how they can potentially be friends or foes, and not just a foe to kill.

There is some interesting (at least to me) ideas that came while writing it up, especially with a Druid in the party. I left it a bit open ended to see what develops in play.

I may not use them at all, depending on what happens but want to have some prep in case I need it.

I called them Gromes vs. Gnomes to evoke something a little different from the tropes of gnomes that have grown about DnD in its various incarnations.

I appreciate no one will probably read this as everyone is on MeWe or somewhere, but I believe in sharing what I develop. I will put out the very brief dungeon starter after session 0, when it is more developed.

With the prophesied death of Google Plus, now seemed like the time for me to make some announcements.

Not because I particularly like it, but because it seems to be the place where many of us G+ folks are moving to. There, you’ll find a link to a new Trello board containing all the content I’ve been working on for the last year for Worlds of Adventure v0.3.

If you’d rather not join any new social media platforms you can, as always, find me and the project on the Dungeon World Discord too.

Secondly, I’m going to branch this project. The new rules are a drastic departure from Dungeon World. I know that many people liked Worlds of Adventure because it compiled many of DW’s best hacks and supplements, and there’s value in that. I’ll be updating Worlds of Adventure to accommodate you.

Greg founded The Chaosium in 1975, and from the outset (to quote his own words) “was never content to imitate, but instead published games that were original in their style of play, content and design”.
