On Light Waponry there is this line:

I’ve been having fun poking at lots of settings I like for Inverse World fodder, the last few days. Like, you can take Pathfinder’s Golarion, break up the continent into islands large and small, and boom, lots of potential fronts and neat places to go.

When you present an esoteric object to the Gearhouse and ask a resident for information about that item, Roll+CHA. On a 10+, pick 2. On a 7-9, pick 1. On a 6-, you still pick one but its more complicated than that.
– They are interested in owning it
– They will treat you fairly
– They will tell you its function and a little known fact about it
