This is the story we created using Kasper Brohus Allerslev ‘s Story Starter:
You are at the entrance to The Keep of Uther in the Blackmarsh, which is located in/on/by The Darksea, the vast underground ocean. You have journeyed here to retrieve the Blue Luminescent Dragon’s Egg on behalf of The Realm. Your luck has turned sour though, because there is a bitter Civil War, and that’s a real problem because you’ll be hung for a War Criminal if you do not bring back the Egg. To make matters worse, you have just seen signs of Blackmarsh Dragon Cultists approaching from the shore. You can’t turn back since the Darksea is riddled with Giant Piranha Fish, so you must push on. Looking at the entrance, you get a feeling this won’t turn out well for all of you. What do you do?

Interest check: Would anyone be interested in a tutorial session to learn how to use Macros and Token Actions in Roll20 so all Dungeon World moves are one-click easy? I want to give back to the community and teaching this is something I can do for us!

I am a very visual person so I love using Roll20 to pull maps in on the fly to represent where we are. Last One Shot I moved tokens around continuously to represent a flying ghost and a moving mirror! 🙂

My second try as a GM?
My second try as a GM? Success! I am just buzzing from the fun we had, I could not have asked for a better bunch of players!
We had so much fun that we decided to continue playing together. We made up everything. The whole story. We have a city, a BBEG, an overarching storyline, political intrigue and debts repaid and stolen loot from the jail, and so much fun!
I posted here last week at how my first try as a GM was a DREADFUL experience and this time I did so much better! All my players (two I invited back from the first game) were helpful and everyone played well and no one dominated the game or dragged the rulebook out to hit us over the head with.
Everything felt, to me, very collaborative.
It was a joy to play DW! Yeah!

This will be run in google hangouts and roll20.
We will be using form-fillable PDF character sheets in your own dropbox account, so I can see the sheets updated as we go.

Dungeon World ~ Four Women Tabletop Roleplay: Looking for women to play this awesome RPG on my YouTube channel!
My name is Jessa and I run a roleplay gaming channel called TheJessaChannel. I am creating a show in which I and three other women play Dungeon World, a simple to learn and very fun roleplay-focused tabletop game. The best part? You do NOT need to have experience in Dungeon World or ANY kind of DnD/tabletop type game. What will you need? IMAGINATION and a desire to create a story together!
We will be playing online, through roll20.net and Google hangouts. You will need a headset and microphone, a webcam, a free roll20 account and a gmail address. Please understand that this will be an online show with episodes posted to my channel.
We will be playing on Saturday afternoons/evenings and start time will be decided by availability. I have filled out a Doodle poll to quickly chose a time that works.
