When you want to resolve a combat scene with a single roll, each player roll…

… + STR if you fight in melee

… + DEX if you use ranged attacks

… + CON if you rely on the Balboa tactic

… + INT if you can cast Wizard spells

… + WIS if you can cast Cleric spells

… + CHA if you’re a Bard or have some other ways to bolster your allies

* On a 10+, describe how badass you were and choose 1.

* On a 7-9, describe how hard it was and choose 2.

You take damage

You take a debility

You lose 1 ammo (if you used DEX)

You forget/revoke 1 spell (if you used INT or WIS)

You lose something important to you.

Like, how much default DW coins a handful of copper represents, or a single silver?

So far I have these two :

Boastful

Fight a duel against a worthy foe.

The Art of the Dance

Re-enact a historical moment of your culture through artistic dance.

1. Do these two seem interesting enough to you? I feel like Art of the Dance could be too easy to put in play?

2. Any idea of a 3rd drive I could use?

Adam Koebel The Burning Wheel magic item in Dungeon World: […] Once used, the Burning Wheel ignites and burns with brilliant light. It does not confer any protection from those flames, nor does it provide any bonus to swimming.

lol? What’s the joke, I don’t get it 😛

The one from the book is pretty cool, but I’d like to have better gear progression opportunity in my games. Y’know, the stuff like :

Rusty Sword

> Iron Sword

———> Valerian Steel Sword

I’m looking to hack the HP system.

I’m looking to hack the HP system.

I’m looking to hack the HP system. I intend removing HP entirely and replace it so that each time a character takes damage suffer a debility of his choice instead.

Although, I’m wondering what I could do with the paladin’s Bloody Aegis which lets him take a debility instead of suffer damage.

Any idea?
