Well, I was thinking, and instead of wasting time searching for monsters free images, I decided to give life to other ideas that had to aid in the initiation (and not only) as GM.

Given this, from John Luis text in rpg (dot) net about hard moves, I decided to create cards (yes I’am very upset for cards right now) for each drive option suggested in his texts. In my point of view, are very stylish and usable ๐Ÿ˜‰

In the attached link, i exemplify one of each type.

What is your opinion as experts in the matter of aesthetics and of course usability of these cards?

  1. I love these! Aesthetics: As an art teacher, artist, and graphic designer, I always ask this – Why? And, what if? Almost like playing DW! Lol. So, why red and blue text? Usually, as a GM, my experience tells me that color signifies a code for a system. If the color has no significant meaning, then I would not use color in that way. Black and white will be sufficient since there is enough Notan, or positive and negative space, to create the value difference I think you desire to achieve. Or just leave it as is. One other thought on color – what will it look like printed in grayscale? What if the frame (which is lovely btw) were thicker? What if it also was monochrome? Other than that I think the other things like composition and the placement of elements in your design is spot on! Great job! I hope you know, everyone’s going to use these and ask for more, lol!

  2. Gracias Rocky ๐Ÿ˜‰ the blue and red is only a color test, in the next version, i made all BW (that is my favorite flavor too) .. i try to make the printer tests this weekend after made all changes on the templates, and I tell you later ๐Ÿ˜‰ …

The border is a template, I did not do from scratch, I’ll do some tests, using their ideas … thanks for the tips! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ask for more? sure ๐Ÿ˜‰ in the moment i see that the “design” is fine, i release the other ones.

(about 250 cards for all the examples on rpg.net)

btw: I’m plannnig do this cards in “pt” and “es” also – i have a “pt-br” article with this texts already translated, but i need to put in correct “pt” lol, the “es” translation need to be made from scratch…

  3. I made some changes to the layout using some +Rocky Perez suggestions,

i updated the original link with the new layout. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Print tests done in color and B&W are very readable …. ๐Ÿ™‚
