Me and my friend who has been playing this game in a group has had that group kind of break up(for some reason I have that a lot) so we are looking for a game on Mondays hopefully around 7pm GMT. Who is up for it?

Me  and a group has been playing Dungeon World for awhile but we have been having a problem with attendance, we have two regulars and me being the GM but we kind of need a few more people to play and we were thinking of changing the GM up and maybe the characters. We usually play at Friday at 7pm. Anyone interested? We usually use Roll 20 and mumble for our voice program.

The Chaotic Alignment for the Barbarian has gotten me a bit stuck on how someone would actually do it. Eschew a convention of the civilized world…how would someone do this for example in a Dungeon or other such place outside of civilization? Also what would this look like?

So I played with five players and now finally seeing how GMs can totally not do anything since there were questions and those questions lead to other questions which led to people coming up with stuff and it obviously making me go yeah lets include that. But I know understand why other roleplaying games have turns especially for things like combat its really difficult to keep your head on 5 people and get it all fair for everyone.

Does anyone know of a  Dungeon World or even Apocalypse world hack that kind of would turn it into a World of Darkness Call Of Chthulhu type weird mystery game with strange monsters? A Weird World if you will

So watching the new Rollplay Vigil I noticed something I’ve myself noticed playing Dungeon World.

So watching the new Rollplay Vigil I noticed something I’ve myself noticed playing Dungeon World. People are so used the the Dungeons and Dragons model of doing things where the GM controls everything that they have an aversion to creating anything of the narrative and the world themselves. So how do you encourage people to get on the games wavelength? That you as a player also control the narrative and the world

I’m finding that the fighter is very OP when it comes to killing things, I’ve almost gotten the the point of not bothering with making monsters cause he will slice them through in two seconds because he’s gotten all the moves that increase his damage. And now trying to combat that with nasty enemies makes it almost a fighter mage thing where the fighter will have a reasonably tough time but the enemy will dominate the others. Any suggestions of how to combat this?

So the players are in a bit of a bind at the moment ending on a cliffhanger where the dream demons are cracking the earth to create more doorways so they could go through. I established in the fiction that you could heal these doorways with healing spells and the druid/cleric didn’t have any. I want to help him out by divine guidance but I feel just giving a healing spell would just completely negate any tension and conflict. So what do you lot suggest I do to create a bit more of an adventure to close these doorways?

Wow Undertake a Perilous Journey can really make your players have a whole different adventure if you let it.

Wow Undertake a Perilous Journey can really make your players have a whole different adventure if you let it. Tonight my players fought Gargoyles and found a Dragon underneath a pit that was a tourist attraction and they decided to go on a quest to create an artificial sun so it could wake up fully and they could get its treasure. This was totally not my plan!

Is only having two Player Characters feasible?

Is only having two Player Characters feasible?

Is only having two Player Characters feasible? Wanting to make a real life group but only two people are interested, and the games I’ve GMed have had three at least and I think that is kind of the least number you should have since with two i’d be afraid of monsters/multiple dangers. If you have played with only two PCs do you give them an advantage like a hireling or something?
