In these, the waning days of G+, my final posts will be to announce version 1.5 of Fourth World, my drift of #DungeonWorld to the setting of #Earthdawn. Enjoy.
I was thinking of using the cool example situations you posted here in the past weeks to see how #FantasyWorld would handle them in comparison to vanilla #DungeonWorld.
Would you mind if I did that? Also using the same pictures?
Also, would anyone here be interested in such a side by side comparison?
It’s not meant as a better vs worse kind of thing, but rather as a solutionA vs solutionB scenario. Looking at the differences in approach and design.

In honor of Goodman Games’ awesome DCC FreeRPG Day submission for 2018, I am working on a DCC to DW conversion of Man-Bait for the Soul Stealer. Between this and the conversion of Portal Under the Stars that Mark Tygart and I worked on — you would have TWO DW adventures (along with all the cool DCC info) should you pick up the module at your FLGS. (Wow, that’s a lot of acronyms even for a nerd post.)
It’s all free.
So, would anyone be willing to look over my conversion for typos? If you happen to have the module, that would be great, but it is not necessary.

Today, in #DungeonWorld, our heroes succesfully negotiated with the elves via a charmed hostage, got their pseudodragon back, and performed a ritual to safely plant Gary the Treeman’s last acorn in the corrupted centre of the forest.
Nothing was burned down today.
Next, they’re riding their stolen horses to Daviston, to steal salamander eggs from some aristocrat.

Today, on #DungeonWorld, we left the last session of the year in the Garden of Light, wherein the dryads had given our heroes a final warning to leave the garden, but the cleric & wizard had convinced them to allow them a chance to release the trapped soul of Light (the druid who lived and died there). The dryads are now holding the rest of the party as a security deposit.
I’ve run Havenshine a couple of times but never visited the garden until today.

The 24 hour Extra Life board game marathon that I co-host to benefit Indiana’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital starts tomorrow. I can’t believe it is already here. My team is in its final push to raise money for Riley Hospital. If you have a couple of bucks to spare, I would deeply appreciate your support. Thank you.
I have been sick with a persistent cough for two weeks. Coughing all day long takes its toll out of me. My throat hurts, my ribs are sore, and after each full day of it, I am so damn tired. That makes getting my #Inktober drawings done a challenge. However, yesterday I didn’t cough as much and I was finally able to ink the drawing of a goblin orkaster that I have been working on since the werewolf.
My first #Inktober drawing ever was of a goblin carrying a torch. This is a different take. I think I like it better.
If you like my #Inktober2017 #DungeonWorld drawings or you just want to do a good deed for a great cause, please consider making a donation to my #ExtraLife campaign at http://extra-life.org/participant/jimjones.
This will be my sixth year playing table top games for 24 hours in order to raise money for Riley Hospital for Children. Riley saved my daughter’s life with a cranial reconstruction operation when she was just over a year old.
If you’d like to know why I have participated in Extra Life for the last six years, I wrote up something here. It would be a huge help if you shared that public post on your social media platforms. Thanks:
Also, as a thank you to my sponsors this year, I am running Jim’s Extra Life Inktober Drawing Drawing this year. All individual donations to my fundraiser will be counted as entries to drawings that will be held for any unclaimed #Inktober2017 drawings that are complete before each $100 milestone that I meet towards (and hopefully beyond) my $1000 goal this year. If you don’t win at one milestone, your donation (s) will carry over to the next.
