As the holiday season approaches, I’ve been thinking of running a holiday/Christmas themed adventure one-shot for my players. Now, I could just run a silly game with the basic classes and skin some new monsters up for everything, but I then I thought, “Why not write some new easy base classes with a Christmas theme?”

So my question is this, does something like this exist already? If not, would anyone want to collaborate on some silly alternate classes for the season?

Also, let’s throw out some near ideas for adventures concerning the holiday season!

Has anyone had a player decide to keep their old character and play it beside a new one when they reach level 10?

Has anyone had a player decide to keep their old character and play it beside a new one when they reach level 10? How does this affect the narrative, with one player being pulled in two directions?

So, here’s my predicament:

My Artificer wants to chop off his own leg a replace it with a mechanical/magical one. The twist is that he wants to teach the Templar to amputate it for him. Should I write a custom move? Should just use Defy Danger, maybe on both of their parts?

I left the session on a cliffhanger as the two go off to find a spot to amputate and I’m in need of some guidance.

So with +DruidWeek coming up, I’d really like some clarification on the shapeshift move.

When my player uses an animal move to attack, does he roll? Or does he just automatically hit and roll damage?

So I just ran my first session last night, I’m having trouble “letting go” of my powers as GM.

So I just ran my first session last night, I’m having trouble “letting go” of my powers as GM. As in, not telling the players to make a check or when to do something. Any tips on just letting the fiction do the work? What do I do wen my players just stop talking and look to me?

Also, when it comes to trying to convince an NPC to do something or bluff them, what should I do? Do I have them roll for parley? Can someone clarify the description of leverage for me?

Sorry for all these questions, I just love the concept of this system and I want to give my players the best time that I can.
