Second session — nothing but net.
Second session — nothing but net. Seriously, I got applause at the end of the session. Really? When does that happen? I must have the best players ever.
We’re trying out a new addition to the rules. We’re adding Hero and Villain Points. Players get their level in +1’s to rolls each session. GM’s get the the average level of the party plus the number of players in -1’s to the rolls each session.

A dungeon map I’ve done yesterday for my first DW game. We had just two hours to play, so they passed the demonic fire breathing statue at the entrance (ВХОД), did some exploring and then the fighter fell to a hidden pit with lizardmen skeletons (sepate them).
During the fight our bard had a chance to look behind the Black Gate (1st session), but got back even without any bargain.
Overall it was so much fun.

We learned the following things:
The elves of the western wood have killed their own druids (sans a sole survivor), for some reason.
The druid who doesn’t have to mark off rations is NOT allowed to be quartermaster.
“Civilized” Goblins are all over the great cities.
Goblins of the waste like to eat hawks and hawk shaped druids.

This is the updated version of my DW GM reference, now as a half-sheet sized booklet!
Here’s the 1up pages:

I hope they are useful (and legible) to everyone.
(Still haven’t quite figured out how to post an album to the community, so bear with the kludginess)

I believe that DW makes for some excellent grab-and-go gaming, so I miniaturized as much as possible and crammed it into a box. The box is from the WoW TCG, the monster cards are from Vasiliy Shapovalov, and the whole thing measures just over 7″x5″x2″, technically small enough to fit in, say, a cargo pocket.
Yeah, not so much discussion as a “Resource.” Still, if you think it might be handy for your DungeonWorld game, feel…

Finally finished putting together my customized DungeonWorld character sheets that I’ll be using for the adventures I’m running for my brother and his friends. It didn’t take long for them to want to start taking moves from other classes…so I figured having these little half-sheet (5.5×8.5″) character sheets, with the right Moves sections stapled together would be a bit easier than flipping through several pages of unrelated information. And when they take advanced moves? They can staple that on as well.

And here’s a 2-up version (on 8.5×11″), for those of you who can’t normally step and repeat PDF documents at home.

I finally finished reading Dungeon World.
I finally finished reading Dungeon World. Interested in stealing some ideas for my campaign, and using it for some road trip gaming. It was a great read through!

Theory: Show downside of equipment basically has to go together with another move.
Theory: Show downside of equipment basically has to go together with another move.
Can you give an example where Shwoing the downside isn’t one of those too:
– Deal Damage
– Put someone in a spot
– Deal Damage
– Take away their ressources
– another GM move
