We’re trying out a new addition to the rules. We’re adding Hero and Villain Points. Players get their level in +1’s to rolls each session. GM’s get the the average level of the party plus the number of players in -1’s to the rolls each session.
Interesting idea. Did you find the Villain and Hero points were being used to cancel each other out?
Do you use them before the rolls, or do they go after to tip it over the line? Is there any limit on how many you can use on a roll?
I’d worry about decreasing the frequeny of 7-9s which are (IMO) the most interesting result.
