I have just released a  #dungeonworld  adventure based on an incredible map by Herwin Wielinck. It is called In the Hallways of Thime and it is free on DrivethruRPGs.

Joe Banner helped me on this one.

Someone let me know if i’m in the wrong place, i’m new here. I will keep it short though. I have only GM’d for about 1.5 years in the d&d 3.5 system. I have read through the pdf for dungeon world 2-3 times. I have an idea for a 5hr 1 shot that takes place in an haunted mansion/hotel. I would really like to bounce ideas off of anyone who has experience with the dungeon world system. Maybe i’m barking up the wrong tree with this system and this idea. Any replies would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time ^.^

You guys, Joe Banner is really good. I think we should put him on as permanent staff.

(I just found a dozen adventures in my downloads folder and read them all this morning, and with the exception of the apostrophe problem, THEY ARE SO BRILLIANT)

Ok, instead of just doing the custom moves, maybe its better to just put the whole thing up and letting people judge…

Ok, instead of just doing the custom moves, maybe its better to just put the whole thing up and letting people judge it as a whole. Please look it over and provide feedback. Also, feel free to use this as is or modify it for your own tastes.

Next update on my DW adventure.

Next update on my DW adventure. I totally forgot I already gave an option to get rid of the vampire bite my paladin obtained last session, so he’s actually already been cured. In the end of last session our heroes saw a swarm of rats running away from the catacombs they just got out of. U’riell the elven druid changed into a bat and followed them for several days untill the rats went into a cave/catacombs complex all the while saying they “have to be there”. He changed into a rat to try and infiltrate, but they immediately knew he wasn’t one of them and tried to attack him. Luckily he could escape unharmed. The rest of our group were on their way back to town where they found out the priests of the church had been killed. A discern reality check pointed towards Lizardmen and they also found the Oracle, Sundra, to be missing. At the same time there were some new heroes in town, Rat the human thief and Foesmasher the human barbarian. After cremating the priests the next day our heroes (minus Foesmasher because he was too tired from a night of having fun) headed towards the swamps in the South to bring justice to the Lizardmen and get the Oracle back to safety. They had an encouter with a Gnoll tracker party, which were killed in a few seconds, almost killing Raymond, our bard. Inside the swamp they got careless and were attacked by a giant treebark crocodile. Rat the thief managed to dodge its attack, but stumbled into the water right next to the croc, who charged into another attack. Luckily he had help from Roald, out paladin. Roald jumped into the water, barely keeping his head above water and slew the croc while gaining heavy damage himself. The party decided the rest for the day and heal up. This was the end of the session, but they weren’t safe yet, they could hear singing coming from further inside the swamp.

We had tremendous fun playing this and I can’t wait to GM the rest of this campaign.
