Does anyone have any thoughts on whether and how the BANK IT move can/should be used with vanilla DW? Can you just change “silver pieces” to “coins” and use it? Looking at the price lists from both games, it seems there is no consistent exchange rate.

I want to do this, but I want to make sure I am not missing something obvious.

I wonder if there are those FotF players out there who would be willing to share and discuss how you actually use GROUP followers during a fight. I tend to lean heavily on the storytelling side, so I’ve often been found winging it, but I’d like to see a by-the-rules play-by-play take on this. In one game, I’ve been finding it challenging lately to handle “Ferenhaem’s Guard” a group of archers who also carry swords. I understand that they are a follower unlike any other except they possess the GROUP tag, but with 6HP, does this mean a single giant rat bite can kill them ALL AT ONCE? And how should their damage work? I’ve been using the rule, roll player damage, roll follower damage, take the higher number. “Do their Thing”, however, seems to suggest that the followed can make independent damage rolls. Maybe I should consult The Perilous Wild more closely, but I thought I’d ask first…

Thanks!

I’m planning to run my home group through a Night’s Black Agents campaign using the Dracula Dossier, but I have…  issues with the GUMSHOE system. So I made a PbtA hack of NBA. The idea is to be able to use official Pelgrane adventures/campaigns as-is, without having to adapt much.

I offer it here, untested, for anyone who might find it of use. Feedback welcome. Note that I left “Vampirology” and “Occult Studies” off the character sheet because my players think they’re going to be playing a straight espionage game.

Hi, Jason! What’s the status on Jonathan Walton’s Freebooter adventure? Did that get published and I missed it?

In Freebooters, you may Burn Luck points 1:1 to increase your dice roll, including when rolling up a character’s HP during creation.

Ability Scores are said to never be able to drop below 3 – is this the same for Luck? One of my players wishes to spend ALL of their Luck points to gain the most HP they can to start.

Thanks in advance!

Thinking about a new campaign using Freebooters on the Frontier, but I want a slightly more WFRP feel, so I was considering making dwarven wizards into dwarven rune-casters. They are essentially the same, but they would have rune spells instead of the normal spells.

I started working on a d66 table (for the Warhammer Quest feel) for rune magic:
