Just something for fun – anyone here seen the anime Attack on Titan? If so, you might enjoy!

Some good name choices in here for your next puritan NPCs or Paladin players! (Well, maybe not Fly-fornication.)

Woof, the Faithful Friend
“BARK! BARK! BARK! Bark? Wwwwwwwwwwhiiiiiiine?”
Loyalty 3
When you discern realities with Woof, you may ask one of the following regardless of your roll:
• Where is the nearest food?
• Which way did the person who was just here go?
Woof will always try to defend his master or mistress, whether you want him to or not.
Cost: Your love
I could do with some help here – I like the idea behind this magic item, but not the execution.

Focault’s Pendulum
A small ball of lead suspended on a delicate silver wire. When held aloft, it will dispense a steady trickle of salt which never seems to run out. When suspended and left to naturally swing for an hour or so, the salt will eventually form a pattern on the ground.
When you consult the pattern formed by Focault’s Pendulum, roll+INT. On a 10+, you may ask the GM all three questions and they must answer truthfully. On a 7-9, pick two. On a 6-, only one.
– What plane of existence or physical realm am I in?
– Which direction is north?
– Where is the nearest ocean?
(If you saw my preview earlier this week, no surprises for what inspired this particular item!)
Boom.
Boom. Here’s a teaser for my upcoming adventure pack, Shadows of Umberto. The full thing should be about 32 pages (A5) with fronts, location info (I’ve shown some of that here already), magic items, monsters… all that good stuff. What do you guys think?

Thinking about more questions to ask my players tonight, because I don’t think enough have been asked to link them to the world yet.
Am I crossing a line if I ask the human druid “What happened back home when you failed to control your powers?” (My concern being, I’m explicitly stating he lost control of his powers one time.) Am I worried about nothing – or any suggestions on rewording or asking different questions?

So, among other antics tonight my group’s thief managed to steal a friggin’ MOGWAI from a store of arcane antiquities. He’s then proceeded to stow said creature with his food, in a non-waterproof pack, and explore a dank and damp sewer. I’ve definitely got some ideas the next time he rolls a 6-…
I’m planning on including this page to give GMs an idea on locations in my next adventure supplement.
I’m planning on including this page to give GMs an idea on locations in my next adventure supplement. Since Dungeon World is all about playing to find out what happens, and one of the main principles is to draw maps but leave blanks, I don’t want to go into reams of detail here.
Do you think these factoids and titbits would be enough to go on? Or too much/too little? All feedback welcome. (Appropriate creatures will be included as well. The quote in grey is one of several I’ve scattered throughout, for fluff and as something to give the players for a successful spout lore/carouse etc.)
Something for the Wizards and Diablo fans alike!

The Book of Cain
This fascinating tome is filled with a lifetime of knowledge and pertinent facts on creatures, locations and peoples across the world. Whenever you get a moment to do so, you feel compelled to stay a while and read from the book.
While the book is in your possession, whenever you make camp you gain +1 forward the next time you Spout Lore. However, you find the book so engrossing you neglect to take care of yourself and your allies – pick one:
Your watch (if you’re called to take one) is automatically a failure, as you’re too engrossed with reading.
You miss the chance to catch some sleep and don’t regain any HP.

Following on Hannah Forster’s request for more magic abilities from Hirelings. I’ve used the term acolyte as a placeholder, but could work well with other hireling ‘classes’ too.
Ensorcelled attack: When the acolyte helps you deal damage, you may opt to add either the messy or forceful tag to your attack. If you do, you cannot get a 10+ result; a 10+ counts as a 7–9.
