I’ve finished the Italian trenslation of the Mount and Vehicle Rules.

I will put:

“Extract from Inverse World, a DW hack by Jacob Randolph and Brandon Schmelz, Rules by Andri Erlingsson “

To complete the package can I translate also the Pilot hireling?

Many thnaks in any case

Dear Jacob Randolph Brandon Schmelz and Andri Erlingsson .

I contribute to a free Italian DW fanzine (http://mondosotterraneo.wordpress.com/ )

The subject of the next issue will be Steampunk and there will be for sure a lot of vehicles. And Inverse World has a real nice system for mount and vehicle.

IW Mount and Vehicle Moves wuold be a very useful and interesting addition,  but I know that Inverse World is not under CC (except for Playbooks).

So I kindly ask you what would be your position:

a) Please design your own rules, we prefer to keep ours moves only for Inverse World specific material

b) Well, you can refer to the Moves, but you cannot translate them or put them on your fanzine.

c) Sure, you can translate the moves and put them on the fanzine, as long as you mention the source, authors and Inverse World

d) There is another solution …

Many thanks for any of your answer

So, I have tried to build up a new Knight playbook for a campaign I am porting to DW.

It is almost nothing my work, I just merged the Knight of wrl here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XCbJg1MABqTfqaofvXs7SXbiRRwuzFJQQy85G7M3Fs4/edit?pli=1

with the Knight of Solamnia of Jeremie Wade and the Paladin in order to be less focused on the mount and more on knightly duties and orders.

It’s a fast and furious wrap up, I have to play it tomorrow evening, and I need to work also on the wordig, but it is still something.

I found this Knight playbook on the good nerdwerd’s blog

Is the author in the tavern?

I would like to use it but I see it is still in development, any idea what are the problems with it? Are there any other knight playbook available?

Many thanks

Maybe somebody already though that, but I’m thinking adding this other option to 10+ in Hack & Slash:

-you can hit another foe with the same blow

what do you think?

Hi all

Hi all

Hi all

I have to run a three hour session of DW so I’m trying with this Dungeon Starter

It is the dawn of a decisive battle on the plain

Questions

who fight this battle?

you enlisted?

-if you enlisted

which of you insisted to enlist as mercenaries?

with whom?

what are the rumors about the ruins east of the battlefield?

Who is to blame for the fact that you are losing?

In what regiment are you?

what is the suicide mission for which you volunteered?

Which reward they promised you?

What do you think will happen to the loser army ?

-if you did not enlist

how come you came out from the ruins through a secondary exit?

What were you looking for?

who prevented you from getting it?

which of you triggered the trap that brought down the exit tunnel as you went out?

What do you do now that you are facing a cavalry charge?

Impression

-the armies lined up at dawn, with banners waving

-the tortured bodies after a massacre

-the smell of the blood, carried by the wind, even at the entrance of these ruins

-abominable beings awakened by this smell

-forgotten ancient ruins beneath the vegetation

-ragged vagabonds frightened by fog

-the darkness in the subsoil

-the camp buzzing with activity

-the general who gives orders to the officers, concerned about the trend of battle

-wounded people who complain, devoid of hope

-the rumble of the charging chivalry

-distant sounds in these tunnels otherwise uninhabited

-a race against time, other adventurers in search

-the last bastion of resistance

-crypts of ancient heroes

-the official arrogant and incompetent

-the leader bloodthirsty and ruthless

-prisoners dragged in the mud and / or sacrificed

-havoc in the night in the field

-the dawn of a victory

I will think also some custom move, like

When you are in the heat of the battle…
