Most of these playbooks have pre-DTRPG versions floating around here in the Tavern. They may not be exactly what you get when you buy one but they should be pretty darn close. It seems, to me, that most authors finalize all of the important stuff before putting it up for sale and just make final small tweaks and text changes prior to the playbook being “finished”.
Where are these mancers you speak of?
