So, I’ve previously spouted my appreciation for the effort put into the wonderful #AdventureTime setting for 4th edition D&D (linked below); The thought, the flavour, the production values are sterling for what is effectively an unofficial product on both sides of the #CartoonNetwork and #WizardsoftheCoast fences.
What I found when playing it, though, was that either my love for 4e as a system had dwindled too much to play it right, or it was just too clunky and fiddly for the setting. Grids? In Oo? No way! Neither battlemap nor character sheet seemed to fit in that zany, ever-changing mutant wasteland of candy chaos.
Nowadays, I feel it might be more at home in the #DungeonWorld framework.
“Adventure World” hack/playbook, anyone? I’ll probably try to make my own someday when I have more free time. You just need to port the classes and the moves, and the rest is just monster building and custom moves for episodic situations.
Hell, you could even do it with Regular Show if you wanted…OR ABSOLUTELY A N Y T H I N G !

there was an AW hack for Adventure Time, once, but the creator took it down for some reason. A shame, because it was very good.
Jarrah James Makes sense; Adventure Time’s Oo is a post-apocalyptic dungeon-fest.
Justin Smith Oh! Yeah!

…Although I think standard DW rules would work fine (having not read World of Dungeons at all).

Here’s a link to the draft I posted today of Kingdoms of Ooo. Still in the process of hammering out odds and ends, but I’ll add you to my AT circle and keep you in the loop.

CRIMBO CAME EARLY! Thanks!
Michael Wight Does your enchiridion assume knowledge of the WoD rules?
It will provide all the rules necessary. Pretty much the same basic mechanics as World of Dungeons / DungeonWorld, but tweaking the numbers and some unique bits. Otherwise über-simplified to better get the feel of the cartoons.
Should actually have enough there to start playing, actually.
Michael Wight ah! that’s the thing I was talking about!
When you SUMMON A WIGHT, roll +Google.
