I never cease to be amazed by the crazy shit that transpires in these games. Last night, the virulently anti-undead cleric is being subtly corrupted by a necromancer’s staff that his ancestral deity let him use, and ended up raising a defeated Mohrg to do his bidding, convinced that it would be okay if he only used the undead to serve his ancestors. The PCs were chasing a couple of vampires through a mine, and I had all sorts of ideas for mischief they were going to make, but the ranger ended up dropping one with a high damage roll shot (and claiming his Blood Bow, thanks to the members of this community who made up that item) and the Paladin ended up catching the other in a sprint and lopping off her head (this is the second time the PCs have done that to this particular vampire; massive damage with his quest boon). Later, the same Paladin tried to ride the Druid, in warg form, into battle with a skeletal crocodilian to fairly disastrous result.

  1. Oh, the Paladin had the quest requirement to kill all evil things, so he could not abide the Mohrg servant. He ended up imapling it, much to the disappointment of the Cleric.
