Here is my Skald Version 3. Only a few changes here. Someone mentioned that having debilities that work differently from normal debilities is annoying, so I’ve removed all of those. What this means is I’ve replaced one Raging Song effect (the new power is sort of like the Superstitious rage power from PF), and all the drinks for the Brewer move. I also Changed the dwarf racial because it was sort of related to the things I removed.

So here is version 2 of my Skald playbook. It’s a barbarian/bard hybrid, or a fighty-er and bawdier version of a bard.

In version 2 I added names, looks, bonds, I’ve updated Gear options (adding a precise 2 handed sword), and edited some advanced moves: Solid Note, Party Animal (thanks David Guyll), Blistering Invective, and Legend Lore (which needed a buff since rolling a 12+ on a move based off a stat you’re likely going to have a +0 in was weak).

I would still love to hear feedback on any moves you like or don’t like and any suggestions you have to improve current moves.

Hey guys, I’m trying my hand at my first Class Playbook. This is the Skald Playbook, which some of you may notice I stole heavily from the new Skald class from the Pathfinder Advanced Class Guide. Although some of it had other inspirations. He’s sort of a barbarian + bard class. I’d love to hear any feedback from you guys.

So I have a player who died, but instead of finding death on the other side, he found his father who is a God (of earth and stone). He now has to make a deal to return to life. I’m thinking about making the deal that he has to become a cleric (he isn’t really enjoying the shaman he’s playing at the moment), but I also want to give him some boon when his deific blood is awakened. Any suggestions?

My groups bard is looking to multiclass to add something beyond social and knowledge skills to her repertoire. Anyone have a favorite multiclass move they like to take for a bard? The other party members are a druid and a wizard, so any of those moves are out.

Question about the Druid Shapeshifter move.

Question about the Druid Shapeshifter move. Why does the 7-9 result of shapeshifter have no negative consequences? The 7-9 of just about every basic move has some consequences for the character except for this one. Considering how potentially powerful this move is (a creative player can use this move for just about anything and often avoids other rolls), why isn’t there a list of options for rolling 7-9 like there are in Cast a Spell, Arcane Art, etc?

Am I missing something?
