After a long time in development, I’ve finished The Green Scar – my next feature-length PDF for Dungeon world!

Why “feature-length”? It’s had much more development and refinement than my Patreon PDFs, and it’s about 5 times as big. The Green Scar is a series of 3 adventures for Dungeon World, designed to be played either individually or linked together as a mini-campaign. It also features a compendium class by Tim Franzke.

As always, comments and feedback are welcome. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks to some great feedback from a few of you guys, I think I’m nearly ready to put my next big (~40 page) project on DTRPG for the Easter Weekend! Any volunteers to give it a quick look over this evening?

Quick question to PDF-buying folks: I’m doing a 50-page print compendium for my monthly DW Patreon PDFs, which is now (I think) submitted to DTRPG and awaiting review, posting of proofs etc. (Exciting!)

In the meantime: what interest, if any, is there in releasing the same compendium digitally? In other words, would you pay for the convenience of one big PDF instead of going to my site and downloading them all separately for free?

Has anyone got any fun GM advice or custom moves for when the players don’t speak the same language as everyone else?

Has anyone got any fun GM advice or custom moves for when the players don’t speak the same language as everyone else? I have an idea for a skyrim-style “wall of translation” in the long term but would be interested if anyone else had fun examples of this in play.

Yep, it’s my latest PDF from Patreon, this one supported by Alex Davis and his bunch of ne’er-do-wells: Castle Havenshine. Getting all four NPCs into this adventure was tricky, but the good news is I think there’s a lot here for GMs to chew on – and hopefully continue to inspire with! Let me know what you think.

So I was pleased to welcome back a couple of friends who’d not played DW for a while for a one-off game this evening.

I put together this character sheet for one of them. I think a few peeps have mentioned seeing #charactersheets  for one-off games here already – this is pretty close, and worked for me. (The 2nd page is the adventure starter that I read out to both players.) Shared as-is in the hopes it’ll be useful for players that just need a pick-up character. (We did do bonds and alignment, but I asked leading questions in play to establish these later. The player just scribbled them down along with XP and other notes.)
