Hi there. I´m a (new) member of the Dragonlance Forums ( http://dragonlanceforums.com/forums/index.php ), and a few days ago, I posted an open invitation to make a DW-Dragonlance light adaptation. No one interested (or no one read the post) there, so I´m doing extensive the invitation here.
I know that Jeremie Wade and +Philip Burge have been posting some material in the past. Maybe we can start from there.
What do you think? Anyone interested?
I would be interested in playing with it, though I don’t think I’ll be able to help really. Maybe making one or two Dragonlance-esque playbooks might spark some interest from other folks?
Out of curiosity, exactly what needs adapting? I’ve always thought of it as pretty standard D&D, unless you’re talking about the Age of Mortals stuff.
Paul Arezina Only minor things, like do a Kender or gnome race, make some Playbooks and Compendium Classes.
I have done this based on the Holy Avenger sword.
The Dragonlance
Reach, 2 weight.
When it´s used to attack Evil Dragons, ignores they armor and increases the damage die by one (d4 becomes d6, d6 becomes d8, d8 becomes d10 and d10 becomes d12).
As well, the Dragonlance can harm any creature of Evil, regardless of any defenses it may have. No Evil creature may touch it without suffering agony.
Ok, thanks anyway Philip Burge
i have seen a couple of DLance playbooks here in the past. high wizardry and solamnia knights playbooks
Philip Burge Wow. An awesome doc. Basically covers almost all the work I was pretending to do. We can add a Steel Legionnaire and a Dark Knight compendium classes, but you have done a really complete adaptation.
