The good news is that I can fit the World of Dungeons classes on playing cards, and the only bad news so far is that each A4 page has room for four more cards and I didn’t prepare any content for them. Random tables, maybe?

Thanks to either Dustin Flesher or Dustin Flesher for the inspiration, but I wish one of you had set a profile photo to save the double-tag.
The rules could probably fit there…
Yeah. Looks like you can get four more cards. How about a condensed version of the Basic Moves?
You can’t see it at that scale, but all the necessary rules are there, it’s a pocket version of World of Dungeons, so there’s only one move.
Ah, right. Monster creation rules then? Something for the GM?
A quick adventure generator, similar to the one on Lazers & Feelings?
Monster rules: Already there on one side of one card.
Yeah, Maze Rats or Laser Feels tables would be good. Danger Patrol pocket style…
.
This is really awesome, by the way.
It might be useful to have some sort of Quest/Monster XP scale, which is mentioned in the original rulebook but not outlined. Probably wouldn’t be too tough to come up with something simple that makes sense.
A scale for loot might also be helpful. You can infer the value of things from their costs on the item list, but having an easily referenced scale would be nice.
Way cool!
blank class cards for custom classes?
Looking great
So you consider these a player aid or GM aid? And is it for in-game reference, pre-game prep, or a little nitro-boost for beginning a game quickly? Encounter/adventure tables could be handy. Or, tables of character names, backgrounds, motivations – useful for PCs and NPCs.
This looks amazing, will you share the actual document as well? (for me the png is not showing anything thats readable, but I assume this is awesome)
Thomas Berton I ditched the silver as XP actuarial table in favour of ten failures per level, but that is a good idea!
Jennifer Erixon I was tempted before, now I think so!
steve christensen it’s intended as a complete game starter for newbies at cons, I am copying the idea HARD from Dustin.
Gerke Bouma once the sheet is full and printing legibly I will flatten it out and share, as it is just layout and editing of the work of others.
For reference, here is my first test print beside the intended medium. Rules text on the back is a little smaller than this but you can just HOLD IT UP TO YOUR FACE for maximum usability and laughs.

Last night, I did a test print on my cheap laser printer at home, and since this second photo I have increased the font size and darkened the background, as it should be visible on domestic printers. This one isn’t.

A table for generating spirits for wizards could be pretty handy
Alex Chalk That’s gold right there. Thanks!
I think this old chestnut is a must.

I think I will use 4d6 tables for everything, fits better than 6d6 on these cards.
Spirit NAME/LOOK/DOMAIN/DOMAIN, I guess
Okay, I have a blank character card (roll your own class using the other class cards) and a quest/spirit card. That leaves two more double-sided cards. I should have this finished next week if life treats me right.
Maybe a 4d6 for monsters and one for dungeons/environments? Adapted from the Perilous Wilds perhaps?
Update: I made four extra cards, then remembered that printers require margins, removed two cards, printed and found a rules typo. Will fix the typo tonight and have the file shared out on Monday.
The back of the wizard card is still a bit tight for writing spirit details, but here is the latest version:

I LOVE this Idea …. 😂
This is amazing 👌
Seriously awesome work, dude! A couple minor notes: It would be nice to have a spot for Coin on the player cards (I get that space is tight though). Likewise for a mention of the Die of Fate on the GM card.
Also, “Woodland” doesn’t seem to fit with the other options for Monster Origin. The other ones are much more general. Maybe replace it with something like “Artificial” or “Magical”?
Again though, this is totally awesome.
Feedback considered!
whoa Matt Horam ! these are totally sweet! thanks so much for putting this together, for real. wod doesnt get enough love
Brandon Reinert Glad you like them, I will try to improve them as soon as I have time.
