Hey everyone, just wanted you to know I made an edgy satire joke parody product. It’s a pretty good jape for a dollar. I hope you like Dungeon World!

Please keep the witchhunt out of this community… 🙁
ahaha witchhunt? seriously?
Apparently yes
(Did some research)
how exactly is making fun of people acting the fool on the internet a witchhunt?
Or to quote a friend:
” Remember, when they make a “satire” product about transpeople and browns, it should be taken as light-hearted and fun. But, when you make a satire product about people who do that, it’s a witch hunt.”
Yeah this is more of a “mess with the bull, get the horns”-kinda thing.
Full disclosure: I found this playbook amusing and self aware, and the document that inspired it offensive and amateurish.
I bought this for a dollar, but I wouldn’t ever use it in a game of DW.
I feel like I missed the joke.
I love DW and this seems to be mean spirited and pick on the game designers for some reason. Not cool.
it’s a pretty easy system… if you don’t like it don’t buy it.
The playbook is amusing. But if its not going to see use in the game, is it DW related? If its not really meant for DW gameplay discussion, isn’t it spam?
Clinton Pong it is by no means talking about the designers of Dungeon World. I think Sage and Adam have worked pretty hard to create a user friendly, approachable system.
Honestly, this is more of a poke at the folks like James Desborough, Gareth Skarka, or James Raggi and the like who try to be edgy and dark for the sake of being offensive and then cry about free speech when called out for being shitty.
Sage and Adam are great.
I recognize a whole bunch of people in this. Even if a single event triggered it, this is like grapeshot rather than a cannonball.
God that’s a nerdy metaphor.
Grapeshot is way better anyway. It has Storm.
