Well its artilery so its about firing at an area over a large range. not firing directly at something.

Tim Franzke I understand about firing at the long distance, but isn’t it already covered by near and far tags?
indirect is harder to aim?
it’s just an excust for the GM to make extra moves. You can’t really volley with an artiellery weapon so you have stuff like this:
“okay you can hit them but it will take some time for them to properly aim this thing. Otherwise you can shoot faster but you risk hitting these guys over there if the aim isn’t perfect.”
and things like that.
Also shooting over things, that can come in handy.

Probably also means that it can fire at things it cannot directly see with the help of a forward observer.
So when is Inverse World coming out? I still only have the playbooks.
