Does anyone remember where in the core book it talks about how you can resolve a character getting handed up on my multiple foes? It’s something like roll the damage for one, add 1 for every for odd the same type beyond the first? I remember reading it but now I can’t find it. Or maybe I’m talking rubbish?

That sounds like damage from multiple creatures – roll the highest damage and add +1 damage for each monster beyond the first. (Page 24)
