Given that Mouse the Thief recognized The Storm’s Eye from old City Urchin folk stories, and intends to drag it out of the Sorcerer-Fiend’s Esotericum… it needs a small write up for my personal notes. And hey, given that Ozymandias the Paladin kept his lost sister’s journals as a sign of his previous life before the order… this is the perfect time for a move, methinks.

The Storm’s Eye

Weight 6

This blue, multi-faceted jewel stands the height of an armored knight, and is cut most irregularly — it is lopsided, and pitted in places. However, none of this detracts from its beauty; it glows with an internal light, and shines regardless of how the light strikes it. This glow, like its form, is irregular — some of its faces gleam like polished mail, while others remain dark and cloudy for quite some time before igniting again.

This monolithic gemstone’s magic comes from an ancient, wrathful storm elemental trapped within. When gazing into its faces, one can view the site of any rainfall — as all storms are the children of this very, very old elemental — and one can scrutinize that scene from the perspective of any drop of rain or flake of snow just by willing it; one can observe these faraway places as though they were actually standing there.
