What do you think is the proper name for the person who runs DW?
MC (Master of Ceremonies)
GM (Game Master)
DM (Dungeon Master)
DWM (Dungeon World Master)
DWGM (Dugeon World Game Master)
S&/OA (Sage and/or Adam)

I think GM is always best.
“His royal highness, King Kasper Brohus Allerslev, first of his name”, but GM will suffice.
As we speak about “running” DW and other games I am increasingly leaning towards show runner or runner
I prefer GM. I know that Apocalypse world uses MC. But Dungeon World is explicitly trying to capture an old school Fantasy RPG feel and GM is the closest term they can use without getting a cease and desist letter form a certain large companies legal team.
I have always referred to myself, at least, as the Narrator.
DJ: Dungeon Judge
Saboteur
Ben Jarvis As much as I like the name, I think “saboteur” sounds more like a synonym for “player character” 😉
GM, because as Dungeon World is an open sandbox, the type of game played is adjusted by the Game Master.
I prefer MC. I’m not the game’s master; I’m just conducting events.
Sagemaster? Koebelord?
*M. “Starmaster”
Horrible Jerk.
In all seriousness, I use GM for dungeon world, but I think the style of GMing is MCing. I’m there to keep things moving and interesting, but not choose or dictate the direction.
ARCHITECT OF WOES. Which, really confusingly, abbreviates to AW. Ah well.
Architect of Woe.
Mind blown.
Also metal band name.
Spielleiter
I’ve switched to “The Boss” in all the games I’m running.
Ah Tim Franzke I didn’t know the German term, but it’s the same as in Swedish, Spelledare.
Meister is also common sadly. Maester would be cool though.
I’m pretty tempted to start calling myself “The Gamemeister” now.
MB! MASTER BANANA!
My players have taken to calling me, ‘The Sky God,’ and I rather like it. =P
