I guess this isn’t a specific DW question, but I’ll ask in case someone has hit the same problem. Does anyone know of any G+ Hangout apps that allow you to stream music? I’m specifically wanting it to stream to the whole group while we play, but I’m running into some trouble.
I know Roll20 has the Soundcloud thing, and it works well, AND Roll20 has a Hangouts app, but it feels silly to open up Roll20 just to play music in the background. Using the YouTube app is a little clunky as well. I feel like this is the only thing missing from my DW game at the moment and I’m flummoxed.

Have you ever heard of the site Grooveshark? It’s like a shared, online iTunes and you can look up a lot of cool fantasy-based music on there and make it into a playlist.
I had it running in a separate tab tonight for a Hangout game I ran and just turned down the volume so it was quiet enough that it added ambience but didn’t distract.
Grooveshark streams music online, and you can even upload your own music onto it if I’m not mistaken.
Grooveshark is great. It might conflict with your Hangout stream, especially if you’re on an older/slower system. YMMV.
Yeah, I’ve used grooveshark before. I’m kind of suprised there isn’t something hangout specific, though.
