I wrote a short RPG that fused Searchers of the Unknown with Dungeon World. The part I think you might find interesting is the GM section, which gives the GM a constrained list of options rather than principles

Explorer with highest Status is
a) in command
b) the worst to pull off the Rank trick.
Is that right?
Also, I have no idea what to do with monster’s armor.
Very interesting. Not sure if the idea with the different GMs works but hey, nice idea.
I like the task resolution.
I will put this game on the List of “Games I wanna play when I find time and players”.
Good catches, Vasiliy. The tests for rank and cunning should be swapped, so the higher your Status, the easier it is to pull rank. And monster armour doesn’t work. Instead, replace it with DW style armour by subtracting 9 from every monster’s armour.
To explain why it’s a bit sloppy, it was written in a day for an EN World contest with a time limit. Thanks for giving it a critical read through!
And thanks Sophia – I’d be really interested in your feedback.
I’ve uploaded a 1-page errata to correct these problems: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qjtqiktgz8uiibv/2qyOkMbZRU
