Since this community is here, I thought I’d share what my intentions are with Inverse World. 

Above, in the image, is my current campaign setting, Laerad (or Dungeon Wurm). Below is where I will place a version of Inverse World. (Yes, that is Sola as a fruit in the middle.) Some chunks of land will float, but the major “continents” will be held together by the roots which come from the ceiling of the world. Occasionally  the inhabitants will have to fend off invaders (galactic locusts and the like) who intend on eating the light-giving fruit.

Keep in mind that this is all stylized cosmology; in truth, these are two different and likely spherical worlds, but it’s fun to represent them this way. If you squint real hard, you may even see hungry Dis in the background somewhere…

  1. That is incredibly cool. I love this alternative design, especially the implications about Walkers – with those vines, they can travel the entire world themselves! It would be tiresome work, but it would be do-able.
