Question – after playing many games of DW and other Fantasy Tabletops, do you actually use Fronts by-the-book? I actually find them quite useless, I do write down any Ideas, Dangers and Personas that come up during our games in my notebook, but I never use the Fronts rules as written in the DW book. I just note down any Permanent Dangers the heroes have ignored, and I try to use them in our next game.
A friend of mine though has informed me, that I never really played Dungeon World, if I didn’t print out the Adventure Front sheet and placed it on the table.
How do you play? Do your really note down everything – all dangers, fronts and grim portents for your players? Or do you simply write down everything what happens during your games in your notebook, and you just keep playing?
When you try to find an egg, roll+WIS, ✴On a 10+ you find one, ✴On a 7-9 you notice one, but it’s in a dangerous place, ✴On a 6- you have angered the giant, mythic bunny, the GM makes their move.
When you receive a gift from someone, before openning the package say what you expect and roll+BOND with them. ✴On a 10+ you get what you expect. ✴On a 7-9 the item is from another brand and is inferior quality, the GM tells you what’s missing. ✴On a 6- you get a pair of socks.
Couldn’t get a print version, so I printed and bound them myself.
Couldn’t get a print version, so I printed and bound them myself… Freebooters + Funnel World + Perilous Wilds, with ornament paper and “custom” cover on the left…
Hello. Just a small info: I created a “official” Polish Dungeon World Fanpage on Facebook. I’m advertising the game in my country. Also: I’m linking to new stuff daily. https://m.facebook.com/dungeonworldpolska/
I’m probably asking this too late but… I am helping with the Polish version of Dungeon World that was recently translated. Right now we are correcting all errors and looking for some illustrators, so… how does the copyright stuff look like, when it comes to translating the core game? I know you can sell supplements and other additional stuff without problems, but what about the whole game in a different language? Can I even upload it for free?
I’m returning to Dungeon World, and I want to start a big campaign saturday.
I’m returning to Dungeon World, and I want to start a big campaign saturday. Haven’t played for some time, so… what extra supplements, rules or playbooks do you guys always use in your game? Aside from Class Warfare?
