The small region of Sulindal has been in relative peace for over three centuries; the vidreng elves – of the Vidreng forest – keep the giants and the occasional monster that descends from the mountains at bay, the towns of Halkorn and Farabraut trade and protect each other, the dwarves of Jarnox trade their metals and minerals for food, and the dwarves of Smitheim defend the region from the horrors that creep from the depths of the Grytfell mountains. #dungeonworld #dwarfaregames

My thirteenth #Inktober drawing is of a #DungeonWorld #Mummy.

I’m not even completely sure why I chose to draw a mummy next. It struck me that it would be fun to attempt to draw the oddly shaped angles and postures of these undead monsters.

It didn’t strike me, until drawing this one, that they could be used in all sorts of crypts. I think I was just defaulting to Egyptian mummies as an idea. Dull thinking on my part, I suppose. The idea of the unquiet spirit avenging the desecration of their tomb is really intriguing me now.
