So I went ahead and uploaded this, so I thought I would share under the principle that I share whatever I make for gaming. Feel free to use or modify or comment. I will probably update after Session 0.

I have realized that I can’t do awesome design like others. So I intentionally do all my work now with Dungeon World and other games like I did back in the day on the old typewriter and dot matrix printer. For this one I put some basic formatting, for my home stuff I just use .txt files.

Frogman comes from the book, but I tweaked one or two moves Credit needs to go to the creators for that one.

Gray Goblin Warrens Revised

My Conversion Notes: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1I-MgLuFWfGSgeP2r3SDZgBKRxCkYu4of

Not much love for this conversion so far, but I think it would make a great “Caves of Chaos” dungeon crawl, perfect for newbie Dungeon World players. This revision cleans my notes up a bit and shows how I would adapt it for my group a little better I think…

Amazing how adding a single good prep question can really help an adventure!

Amazing how adding a single good prep question can really help an adventure! This is minor something that I actually made up at the table in play to start (based on a map in Le Guin’s Earthsea book Tombs of Atuan) but I keep coming back to refine…players seem to like it.

Tales of the Talking Skeletons

Tales of the Talking Skeletons

Tales of the Talking Skeletons

Do you like TALKING SKELETONS?

Do you like ADVENTURE?

If you answered yes to at least one of the above, then my new Kickstarter is for you!

Tales of the Talking Skeletons is an anthology of adventures for Dungeon World, each featuring at least one talkative skeleton. I’ve reached out to get as many distinct perspectives as I can, plus me, so the resulting collection should have something for everyone!

Provided the everyone in question likes talking skeletons.

Has anyone used the Pyrewyrm Doom Track in The Last Days of Anglekite?

Has anyone used the Pyrewyrm Doom Track in The Last Days of Anglekite?

Has anyone used the Pyrewyrm Doom Track in The Last Days of Anglekite? I am confused as to how it should be used. Are “the appropriate preparations” meant to involve completing the first set of bulleted points (which embody “the ritual” I believe)? But that seems wrong because it also says “they can only start the ritual (and use the following moves)…”.

Also, at the end of the Doom Track description it says “Once the Doom Track has filled, the cult may skip directly to completing the ritual”. Does that mean that the first set of bulleted points don’t need to be complete if the Doom Track has been filled (presumably by events in the second set of bulleted points having come it pass)?

I’m inclined to just mash the two bulleted lists together but would I be missing something if I did?

EDIT: I remember, and miss, Grim Portents zine. This was issue 1 of 2.

========================================================

I’m having a mental blank. Was there a zine or supplement years back which had an adventure in arctic mountains and ice-caves, where the ice-cave had a mirror-self who would come out of the lake to replace you? There were also bear-riders mentioned outside the adventure but my mind had conflated everything because of the theme.
