Wizard of the Veils
Wizard of the Veils
When you drawn back one of the forbidden veils to bring something forth, choose a veil and roll plus WIS. On a 10+, you get basically what you were looking for. On a 7-9, something close, but either more or less or without control with appropriate dangers. #wizardweek
On a 6-, in addition to whatever else happens, the veil has been damaged and must be repaired before you can safely open it again.
– The veil of truth and lies
– The veil between life and death
– The green land of plant, tooth, and claw
– Burning light
– Freezing darkness

The Astronaut. #wizardweek
Descendents of voyagers who came to this world in Orichalcum vessels from the Other Worlds, so it’s said. Attuned to the substance of star stuff and its constituents.
WHEN YOU DO MAGIC, you can conjure quantities of elemental matter and shape them according to your will: silver mirrors, clouds of choking chlorine gas, pools of mercury, explosive pellets of sodium, and so on. Roll plus INT. On a 10+, choose 3. On a 7-9 choose 1.
– Conjure a great quantity
– Project it where you want, within sight
– It’s stable and long lasting
– Shaped in subtle and complex ways according to your will
– The Sleepers Among the Stars take no notice
Here’s a thing I made.
Here’s a thing I made. Tags of Death:32 location tags for Dungeon World. They’re keyed to the monster settings (4 tags per setting) with a randomizer table and some procedures for mapping them to your campaign. I’m using these now with my current DW campaign. They pretty much mapped straight onto the map I already had.
Enjoy! Feedback appreciated.
I’m working on a tag-based campaign system for Dungeon World inspired by Stars Without Number.
I’m working on a tag-based campaign system for Dungeon World inspired by Stars Without Number. Basically, each location on the campaign map gets two tags, and each tag provides some threats, opportunities, treasures, and encounters to seed the location.
I’ve got a list of 36 tags, but are they the RIGHT tags. Anyone want to suggest some additions? Or complain about the ones I chose?
