Well here’s a little teaser of a Campaign. Hope I get it done soon enough.

As you steadily rise atop the enormous mound, you remember that pervasive lick of desolation that telltale crimson sky had already given you a few moments back. An eerie waft of cold air that smells of rot dries your mouth when you gasp at the sight of the suffering clouds. Standing in solitude in the middle of the land, a black stone structure punctures the heavens, as the wounded cries in mauve rain and shouts in thunders. Get out it says. Get out – You hear it in your head. But despair and horror become eclipsed by an unnatural curiosity, much more than you’ve ever experienced in your life. Get out— No, you cannot. Your hopeless wandering needs to end. Questions will not be quenched by your shaky icy palms and a body dulled by mortal fear. They will not be quenched by time. Only by discovery will you be put to rest.

Crawling in desperation in an ocean of burning sand, an orphaned baby found a crystalline pearl. The lustrous stone gave the baby shelter, nurture, warmth, and virtuosity in whatever the child needed. Little is known in this legend about the baby’s adulthood; only that when its mortal life was ending, the now elder creature made a pilgrimage. It sculpted this pearl into the shape of a minute hourglass, grinding the inside of the pearl to make the translucent grit that tells not time, but possibilities. A single grain that’s the purest of prisms can sometimes be seen flowing among the variegated shining whites of the sands in it. Stories recall this object as being able to can turn past into future, cold into hot, night into day, and even death into life.

Hey everyone!

Hey everyone!

Hey everyone! A friend and I are working on a little something we might be publishing next year. As for now, we have made some classes we’re happy with, and some that still need a bit of work. I’m looking for people who preferably can playtest them, since the few people we know have already tried them or just aren’t into RP.

I’d like a a small review, and to share the experience you had playing that class.

All in all, thanks.

DW isn’t about mechanic exploiting.

DW isn’t about mechanic exploiting. But what is stopping me from having 5 Warrior Hirelings with 5 levels each? (Thus adding 25 damage on each coordinated hit; granted it would be hard, but even if you can pull off a 3v1 situation it’s still 10 extra damage.)

I have no idea how stun damage works. Would someone explain it to me?

Why do only some weapons do that damage, and what would be an example?

What’s the difference between 1 stun damage and 100 stun damage?

Well here’s a little something I made. Just felt like sharing. I’d appreciate reviews or comments.

Lately I’ve been making some classes and I can’t avoid thinking that alignment is not only limiting, but actually maiming in terms of character creation. Isn’t it better to choose a general direction, or drive, a character would like itself envision completing rather than a “I’m good, I protect weak people” (Fighter)? Using that example, someone might be good but not care at all for weak people because that person’s culture is based around the survival of the fittest, and some people just HAVE to not make the cut.

Anyway; I’d like to hear some arguments.
