After rolling a 6 on the how-did-your-last-job-go move, the whole game has grown out what went wrong when the freebooters tried to clear a mysterious trespasser from a warehouse. A jaunt across The Plane of Shadow has now turned into a trip through The Underdark (one of the PCs is a FR Drow,) looking for a way back to Dis. Next stop – City of the Mind Flayers! (That said, every session has gone very differently to how I thought it might so we could be in Denethix before the night is out.)

I’m going to run some DW at a con next week. I’ve got move sheets, character sheets, spell lists and the stats for the monsters I’m going to use. Apart from maybe a list of GM moves, are there any other bits of the book that you’d print out to take along?

Going to run a DW game at a con in a few days. The macguffin is the Moondial. The question is – what does a Moondial do? I’m hoping that’ll come from the players but it would be good to have some ideas in reserve.
