7. I guess Cacofonix is the Asterix bard that in Italy is known as Assurancetourix (I have no idea why, but I guess it makes sense to the French).

    In fiction twists on the theme… the Maesters of Song of Ice & Fire, Croaker (Black Company is the groups medic/historian), and Morgon (The Riddlemaster of Hed).

16. I’m going to go with Kvothe for sure.. Patrick Rothfuss is a boss at writing and this is the best vision of a true Bard I have ever read about. Those Kingkiller Chronicles are some epic writings and I can’t wait for the third novel..\m/

17. Menolly. I just loved reading about her and I ALWAYS wanted a Fire Lizard.

    But for DnD style bards, Felimid Mac Fal is really very good.
