Can folks share with me how they use Outstanding Warrants?

Easy: I don’t.
If the PCs caused trouble the last time they were in town, I’m perfectly comfortable deciding what happens when they come back.
So, is it one of the little used moves in DW?
It would appear so.

Thank you! I have no idea why that didn’t come up for me when I searched. Maybe I had a typo in there.
In reading the move, it seems like there really isn’t a good outcome to the roll. If 10+, everyone knows they did bad stuff, if 7-9 GM complication, and a miss is a GM move.
Or is the “word has spread of your deeds” meant to signify that their good deeds have outshone their bad actions?
It’s there to discourage murder-hobo-ism. Like many things in Dungeon World, it wasn’t terribly well thought through.
Thank you both! I was creating a race move that had to do with the move, then realized the odd wording and tried to search for discussions. I’ll just not bother with the race move since it isn’t likely to even come up.
