A player character of mine has gained a dragon breath weapon but I’m not sure how to write it. Anyone got any ideas

1. It’s just a weapon with tags: area, flaming. They roll class damage

3. Really lean into that flaming tag! If you aren’t using it frequently for 7-9 results and especially misses, it’ll just feel like a bow n arrow

4. Dragon breath doesn’t make peace. It doesn’t even make war. It makes nothingness.

   This isn’t a weapon like a sword or even a fireball. It’s a weapon like the death star. It erases everything.

5. It’s electric breath weapon so i was going to have it vaporize things in its path

7. I’d definitely give it the “dangerous” tag. Rolling a failure with that would be so much fun to role play

8. Grim World handled it like this: you (the player) pick one thing to be on fire, then the GM picks one thing to be on fire

12. obviously, the GM can vary between nice (the orc next to the orc you breathed on) and not nice (your favourite pants which you are currently wearing) in their selection, as the fiction and dramatic tension demands
