Did i see (somewhat) recently that someone here had done a Dungeon World treatment of Curse of Strahd? I’ve been searching, but can’t find it, so maybe I’m imagining it. I’m thinking about doing my own and wanted to compare my own thoughts to it.

No – but a few have asked. I ran it for 5e, and am happy to share notes.
Thanks Yochai Gal. I will take you up on that after I get SZ4 written and edited. I didn’t think I was going to like the Ravenloft setting, but I’m really enjoying some of the old school stuff made for it and got Curse as soon as I could.
I’m thinking of running it as a “Strahd’s Salvation” campaign: the characters are his closest allies trying to lift the curse so they can all rest in peace after these 3 (3 right?) centuries of unlife, even if that means going against him at times (like keeping Ireena safe).
Damn, that’s good.
There’s a ton of backstory – Revenants, Silver Dragons, etc that would go from allies to enemies. Interesting.
I like the idea of the characters hunting down Van Richten… he wants Strahd dead but the chatacters will know that killing Strahd is only a short term affair. Van Richten will be public enemy number 1, and I need to come up with some clues to let the characters figure out that he’s disguised himself as Rictavio
He wears a foppish hat if I recall. Ooh that means Esmeralda will be an enemy… Rough.
🙂
And there are so many spies (wolves, Vistani, etc.) that they have to APPEAR to be doing as they’re told

Thanks Mark Tygart! Reading it now.
I also have a feeling that I’ve seen a googledoc with notes on running Cos. But all I’ve was this earlier post discussing the same thing: plus.google.com – Did someone try to play Curse of Strahd with Dungeon World rules? Which front…
