Daniel Jensen that sounds great! My preference for a one-shot is 3 players choosing from the core playbooks.
I prefer 4 players ideally. Three is just not quite enough for good character dynamics, and five can be a little out of control at times. For a one-shot sticking to the basic playbooks is a good idea.
3-4 is ideal. 3 is nice and intimate, 4 gives you a little more to work with.
I think the most fun I’ve had is with 2 super-energetic, creative, gonzo players and 1 chill player who was a really good sport.
Yup. Anywhere up to four players is ideal for me. More than that and the spotlight gets spread too thin for my tastes.
