Jason Lutes 2e being standalone, I’m wondering what tack you’ll be taking with GM Advice. Will you mostly be replicating DW’s? Will there be unique agendas and principles with a more old-school bent?

David Perry, they’ll be pretty close to DW, but yes — I’ll be tweaking them toward a specific feel. For instance, I’ll probably replace “think dangerous” with “follow the dice” or something like that, with the idea that danger should emerge from random inputs.
.
I really like Ben Milton’s advice in Maze Rats, as well as the referee and player agendas Steven Lumpkin wrote up here: roll1d100.blogspot.com – Roll 1d100
Jason Lutes That sounds great!
Maze Rats is amazing! Now I have EVEN MORE random tables for OSR goodness.
I’m surprised that Ben Milton and +Jason Lutes aren’t following each other. Jason, you’re even listed in the credits of Maze Rats. I figured Ben would be interested in FotF 2e.
I never use agendae or principles, but then, around here, the GM and players have all been playing since 1978, so we pretty much roll on instincts.
I have Maze Rats but had not been following Mr. Milton. Fixed!
Yeah, I’ve enjoyed Maze rats, especially “Afflictions.”
Here’s a video overview for anyone who is unfamiliar with it youtube.com – Maze Rats RPG Rules Overview
Maezar FYI the system has gone through much more iteration than when Afflictions were part of it (when it was an ItO hack)
David Perry, I just bought the newest version. Thanks!
