It takes ages to do from what I remember. I’d definitely create player handouts so everyone can participate easily and quickly.
Yeah, I sorta melded the Perilous Wilds “create the world” section with FotF’s advice. The player investment always seems higher when they can connect their characters to the environment / rumours / macguffin..
World Architect cards and the Perilous Wilds Random Tables are a MUST.

I love doing maps for world creation and sometimes handout cards, so the players can write down details. So the locations are getting something like a sheet. I like using PW for most my wilderness gaming.
