Awesome! Can I get a taste of any new spells? That’s the main thing I’ve been looking for.
Interesting. How is it different from other magic user classes?
Yochai Gal Marshall Brengle I wrote a small article about how I intended magic to work http://tabletopvault.com/dwarfaregames/2016/11/the-mage/
The gist of it is that magic is divided into 8 schools of magic, each school has 4 generalized spell effects that you can spend ranks on as you leve up to learn them. Each school covers exactly what you would expect; divination school spells for example allow you to find people or locations, detect magic and identify the properties of items, etc. The class takes strong influence on how D&D categorizes magic but it is implemented in a way that works better with DW.
